The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, has released the notification for Northern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Recruitment 2026-27. Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to Level 1 and Level 2 posts under the Scouts and Guides Quota. A total of 27 vacancies are available, including 5 posts in Level 2 (Group C) and 22 posts in Level 1 (Group D).

Educational Qualification

The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.

Age Relaxation

The notification provides additional age relaxation for eligible categories, including:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years.
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years.
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST.
• Ex-Servicemen: As per the prescribed service-based relaxation.
• Certain Railway employees, casual labourers, substitutes and candidates from other specified categories: Relaxation as detailed in the official notification.
