Indian Air Force Airmen Group Y Recruitment 2025: The Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications from male Indian and Gorkha (Nepal) citizens to join as Airmen in the Group Y (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade. The recruitment rally will be conducted from 29 January 2025 to 6 February 2025 at Maharaja’s College Ground, Kochi, Kerala. This opportunity is open to eligible candidates from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and the Union Territories of Puducherry and Lakshadweep.

Eligibility and Qualification

• For 10+2 Candidates:
  • Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
• For Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy Candidates:
  • Passed 10+2 as above and obtained a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with at least 50% aggregate marks and valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India.

Age Limit

• For 10+2 Candidates: Born between 03 July 2004 and 03 July 2008.
• For Diploma/B.Sc Candidates:
  • Unmarried: Born between 03 July 2001 and 03 July 2006.
  • Married: Born between 03 July 2001 and 03 July 2004.

Indian Air Force Airmen Group Y Selection Process

1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
   • A 1.6 km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds
   • 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within the stipulated time.
2. Written Test:
   • Objective-type test with questions on English and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
3. Adaptability Test-II:
   • Evaluates candidates’ ability to adapt to the military environment and lifestyle.
4. Medical Examination:
   • Conducted by an Air Force medical team as per IAF standards, including baseline investigations such as blood tests, chest X-rays, and ECG.
