Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a Mini Ratna Company under Coal India Limited, has released the Statutory Supervisory Staff Recruitment 2026 notification through Employment Notification No. 2026/69 dated 16 July 2026. The recruitment drive is being conducted for Mining Sirdar, T&S Grade-C and Assistant Foreman (Trainee) (Electrical)/Electrical Supervisor, T&S Grade-C posts.
Eligible Indian candidates can submit their online applications from 20 July 2026 to 10 August 2026. The selection process will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification. A total of 444 vacancies have been announced.
Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS, Gas Testing Certificate, First Aid Certificate and 3 years UG mining experience OR Diploma in Mining Engineering with Overman Competency Certificate, Gas Testing & First Aid Certificate
3-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering and valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate for Mines issued by the Appropriate Government
WCL Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
Candidates must be 18 years of age as on 10 August 2026. The maximum age for UR/EWS candidates is 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules:
OBC (NCL): 3 Years
SC/ST: 5 Years
PwBD: Up to 15 Years (depending on category)
Ex-Servicemen: As per Government Rules
Departmental Candidates: No upper age limit
