The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released Advertisement No. 03/2026 dated 03 September 2026 for recruitment to the post of Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) in General, Research, Actuary and Official Language (Rajbhasha) Streams. A total of 30 vacancies have been announced for eligible Indian citizens.
The online application process has started from 03 September 2026 and candidates can apply online up to 24 September 2026. The Phase-I online examination is scheduled for 15 October 2026, while Phase-II will be conducted on 20 November 2026. Candidates will be selected through Phase-I, Phase-II and Interview.

PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The candidate must not have exceeded 30 years of age as on 31 July 2026. The candidate must have been born on or after 01 August 1996. Upper-age relaxation is available as per Government rules, including up to 5 years for eligible SC/ST candidates, up to 3 years for eligible OBC candidates, 10 years for PwBD candidates, and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen, with additional applicable relaxation for certain reserved categories.
PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process consists of three phases:
- Phase-I – Online Screening Examination
- Phase-II – Online Examination
- Phase-III – Interview
Phase-I is primarily used for shortlisting candidates for Phase-II and its marks are not counted in final selection. Candidates qualifying Phase-II are shortlisted for the interview. Final selection is based on Phase-II marks with 85% weightage and Interview marks with 15% weightage.

There is 1/4th negative marking in Phase-II Paper 2. Candidates are shortlisted for Phase-III in order of merit, with candidates up to 5 times the number of vacancies being called for interview.
Phase-III Interview
Only candidates shortlisted after Phase-II will be called for the interview. Candidates may opt to appear for the interview in Hindi or English. Phase-II carries 85% weightage, while the interview carries 15% weightage for final selection.
PFRDA Officer Grade A Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed as Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager). The pay scale is:
₹62,500 – 3,600(4) – 76,900 – 4,050(7) – 1,05,250 – EB – 4,050(4) – 1,21,450 – 4,650(1) – ₹1,26,100
The gross monthly emoluments at the minimum of the scale are approximately ₹2.05 lakh, including applicable allowances and PFRDA’s contribution towards NPS.
Selected candidates will undergo a two-year probation period.

How to Apply for PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026
Eligible candidates should apply online only through the PFRDA recruitment process. Candidates must first check their eligibility for the desired stream, register online, complete the application form, upload the required photograph/signature and other details, and pay the applicable fee.
Candidates can apply for a maximum of two streams. A separate online application and fee is required for each stream, except where the fee is exempted. Applicants should carefully verify all information before final submission because changes/corrections after final submission are generally not entertained.
