The Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Seva Chayan Aayog (UPESSC) has announced a major recruitment drive for 12,405 Assistant Teacher posts under Advertisement No. 05/2026. The vacancies include 897 posts for Assistant Teacher (Primary) under the Secondary Education Department and 11,508 posts for Assistant Teacher, Urban (URBAN) under the Basic Education Department.

According to the notice dated 15 September 2026, candidates must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) before submitting the recruitment application. The online application process will begin on 16 September 2026, while the last date for fee payment is 15 October 2026. The application correction facility will remain available until 19 October 2026, and the written examination is scheduled for 03 and 04 December 2026.
