Qualification for PwBD Trainee Posts
- Operator (Chemical) Trainee: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with 50% marks or B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry with 50% marks.
- Technician (Mechanical) Trainee: Matric + ITI Tradesmanship/National Apprenticeship Certificate in Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Machinist or Turner.
- Accounts Assistant Trainee: B.Com. with 50% marks, minimum typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English on computer and proficiency in personal computer operations.
BCPL Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The upper age limit is 32 years for S-5 posts and 30 years for S-3 posts, subject to applicable relaxations. The cut-off date for determining age and post-qualification experience is 09 October 2026.
Age relaxation includes 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL) and applicable relaxation for PwBD candidates. PwBD-General/EWS candidates receive 10 years, PwBD-OBC (NCL) 13 years and PwBD-SC/ST 15 years, subject to the conditions in the notification. Candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during 01 January 1980 to 31 December 1989 may receive 5 years’ relaxation. The maximum upper age, including relaxations, cannot exceed 56 years.
BCPL Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 Salary
Selected candidates for regular posts will receive the applicable basic pay along with Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) and other admissible benefits. These may include perquisites at 35% of basic pay, North-East allowance where applicable, HRA, conveyance maintenance reimbursement, medical facilities, post-retirement medical scheme and defined contribution pension benefits as per BCPL rules. Selected candidates will initially remain on one-year probation.

A valid email ID should remain active for at least one year.
