MECL Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
Accountant
Graduate + Intermediate pass of CA/ICWA. Minimum 3 years post-qualification relevant experience after passing CA/ICWA Intermediate in Accounts work. Basic Computer and SAP-FICO proficiency are desirable.
Technician (Survey)
ITI in Survey or Diploma in Survey with 1 year post-qualification relevant experience in Survey.
Technician (Sampling)
B.Sc. with 1 year post-qualification relevant experience in Drill Core/Mine Sampling.
Technician (Laboratory)
B.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Geology with 1 year relevant experience in Chemical, Petrological, Mineralogical or similar laboratories.
Assistant (Materials)
Graduate with Mathematics or B.Com.; recognized UGC/AICTE qualifications are required wherever applicable. ODL degrees are permissible. Basic Computer and SAP-MM proficiency are desirable.
Assistant (Accounts)
B.Com. from a recognized institution, with Basic Computer and SAP-FICO proficiency desirable.
Stenographer (English)
Graduate in any stream + Shorthand certificate with 80 wpm in English. Basic Computer proficiency is desirable.
Assistant (Hindi)
Graduate with Hindi and English as subjects, or Degree in English with an equivalent examination in Advanced Hindi. Basic Computer proficiency with Hindi is desirable.
Electrician
ITI/Diploma in Electrical + valid Wireman certificate and 1 year relevant post-qualification experience in electrical wiring, repairs, power generation, transmission or distribution.
Machinist
ITI in Turner/Machinist/Grinder/Miller trade or relevant Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production/Tool & Die Diploma, with 1 year relevant industrial experience.
Technician (Drilling)
ITI in Mechanic (Earth Moving Machinery)/Diesel Mechanic/Motor Mechanic/Fitter or Diploma in Drilling/Mechanical Engineering + valid HMV Licence and 1 year relevant experience.
Mechanic
ITI in Diesel/Motor Mechanic/Fitter or relevant Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Manufacturing qualification + valid HMV Licence and 1 year relevant experience.
Mechanic-cum-Operator (Drilling)
ITI in Mechanic (Earth Moving Machinery)/Diesel Mechanic/Motor Mechanic/Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Drilling Engineering, with relevant experience in drilling/mechanic work.
Junior Driver
10th pass + valid LMV and HMV licences + 1 year consolidated experience in driving light and heavy vehicles.

Assistant (HR)

Minimum qualifying marks: For essential qualifications, the minimum qualifying marks are 45% for direct recruitment to Non-Executive positions. CA/ICWA Intermediate and applicable certifications only require a pass.
MECL Non Executive Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The maximum age limit for UR/EWS candidates is 30 years for all the advertised Non-Executive posts. Age will be calculated as on 01 September 2026.
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC-NCL – 3 years
- PwD – up to 10 years for General, 13 years for OBC-NCL and 15 years for SC/ST
