UPCAR Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The candidate’s age should be 21 to 40 years as on the prescribed crucial date of 17 September 2026. The notification specifies the eligible date-of-birth range as candidates born on or before 17 September 2005 and, for UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS, born on or after 17 September 1986. Officers/Staff members already working on a regular basis in the Institute have no upper age limit as stated in the advertisement.
UPCAR Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process consists of Tier-I OMR Based Written Test followed by Tier-II Trade/Skill/Computer Proficiency Test, wherever applicable. The Tier-I examination contains objective multiple-choice questions and carries 1/4 negative marking for every wrong answer. The written examination may be normalized as required. Tier-II is qualifying in nature, while the merit list is based on marks obtained in the Tier-I OMR-based written examination.
