Delhi DPCC Recruitment 2026: Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), Department of Environment, Government of NCT of Delhi, has released a recruitment notification for Group ‘A’ posts on a regular basis. The recruitment includes Senior Environmental Engineer, Environmental Engineer and Assistant Environmental Engineer posts. A total of 17 tentative vacancies are available across these posts. Eligible candidates are required to submit the prescribed application form along with supporting documents in physical form. Applications must be sent through Registered Post/Speed Post/By Hand to the DPCC office within the prescribed period.

The selection process will be based on a 100-mark shortlisting and selection system, including qualification marks, higher qualifications, relevant experience, UPSC technical/engineering selection, GATE score and interview. The Assistant Environmental Engineer vacancies are specifically reserved for OBC (NCL) Delhi and PwBD candidates. DPCC Recruitment 2026 Qualification

• 1. Senior Environmental Engineer – 04 Posts
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years.
• Educational Qualification:
  Master’s Degree in Engineering in a relevant field from a recognized University/Institution.
• Experience:
  At least 10 years of experience in pollution control or related field after acquiring the Master’s Degree.
• 2. Environmental Engineer – 02 Posts
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years.
• Candidates must possess either:
• Option 1: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a relevant field with 8 years’ experience in pollution control or related field after acquiring the Bachelor’s Degree.
• OR
• Option 2: Master’s Degree in Engineering in a relevant field with 6 years’ experience in pollution control or related field after acquiring the Master’s Degree.
• Relevant fields include Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE, Biomedical Engineering, Water Resources, Remote Sensing, GIS, Hydrology or equivalent.

• 3. Assistant Environmental Engineer – 11 Posts
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
• Educational Qualification:
• Option 1: Degree in Engineering in a relevant field from a recognized University/Institution with 2 years’ experience in pollution control/related field.
• OR
• Option 2: Master’s Degree in Engineering in a relevant field from a recognized University/Institution.
• Relevant fields include Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE, Biomedical Engineering, Water Resources, Remote Sensing, GIS, Hydrology or equivalent.

The above are the 7th CPC pay levels/scales mentioned in the notification.

DPCC Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The maximum age is 50 years for Senior Environmental Engineer, 40 years for Environmental Engineer and 35 years for Assistant Environmental Engineer. The crucial date for determining age is the closing date for receipt of applications. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other eligible categories will be applicable according to the rules/instructions of the Government of NCT of Delhi/Government of India.

Only OBC Delhi candidates notified by the Government of NCT of Delhi are entitled to OBC reservation and applicable age relaxation. OBC candidates from outside Delhi are treated as UR candidates.
