The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹25,500, which is the minimum pay scale as per Haryana Government norms. The engagement is for six months or until regular appointments are made by the Punjab and Haryana High Court, whichever is earlier.

Rohtak Court Clerk Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For Clerk:

• Educational Qualification:
  • A degree of Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Must have passed matriculation with Hindi as a subject.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in computer operations, including Word and Spreadsheet usage.
  • Ability to type in English with a speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.).

For Driver:

• Educational Qualification:
  • At least middle pass with Punjabi or Hindi as one of the subjects.
• Other Requirements:
  • A valid LTV (Light Transport Vehicle) driving license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
  • Should not have been convicted for negligent driving.

Age Limit (as of 1st January 2024):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 42 years
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Haryana Government norms.

The selection process will be based on the following stages:

1. Written Test:
   Candidates will have to appear for a written examination consisting of two subjects:
   • English Composition: Maximum marks – 50 (Qualifying marks: 33%)
   • General Knowledge: Maximum marks – 50 (Qualifying marks: 33%)
2. Computer Typing Test (For Clerks):
   Candidates who qualify for the written exam must clear a computer typing test with a speed of 30 w.p.m..
3. Driving Test (For Drivers):
   Candidates applying for the driver post must pass a practical driving test to demonstrate their driving skills.
4. Document Verification:
   Shortlisted candidates must produce their original documents for verification.
