Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment 2026: The Indian Air Force (IAF) invites online applications from unmarried male and female candidates for the Agniveervayu Intake 01/2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. This unique recruitment opportunity allows candidates to serve the nation and experience military life for a period of four years. Indian Air Force Agniveer Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• Candidates born between 1st January 2005 and 1st July 2008 (both dates inclusive).
• Maximum age limit as on the date of enrolment is 21 years.

Marital Status:

• Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Female candidates must also undertake not to get pregnant during the engagement period.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification:

• Science Subjects:
  • Passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, OR
  • Three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science) with 50% marks in aggregate, OR
  • Two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects (Physics & Mathematics) with 50% marks in aggregate and in English.
• Other than Science Subjects:
  • Passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate and in English, OR
  • Two-year Vocational Course with 50% marks in aggregate and in English.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment 2026 Medical Standards

• Minimum height: 152 cm for males and females (relaxation for specific regions).
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
• Visual Standards: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6.
• Permanent body tattoos are not allowed, except for specific tribal traditions.

Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process comprises multiple phases:

Phase I: Online Test

Marking Scheme:

• +1 for correct answers.
• -0.25 for incorrect answers.

Phase II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• Male: 1.6 km run in 7 minutes, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats.
• Female: 1.6 km run in 8 minutes, 10 sit-ups, and 15 squats.

Phase III: Medical Examination

• Comprehensive medical tests, including vision, hearing, and general health.
